The Kangaroo Island Seafront was originally built in 1916 as the Sorrento's Resort and was extensively refurnished in 2000. The Seafront has aptly named its restaurant as "Sorrento's" as tribute to the Sorrento's Resort that still holds a place in many South Australian honeymooners' heart.

The Kangaroo Island Seafront is a small boutique property with all the features and facilities of an International Hotel. Reception is open 7 days a week from 7.00am to 10.00pm. Check in is at 2.00pm and Check out is at 10.00am. Late Check out is available on request. Room Service is also available 7 days a week.

Six Heritage Rooms are located upstairs in the original Sorrento Guest House building. These rooms share a large balcony with stunning views of Backstairs passage to mainland South Australia.
