Day 1 - Cairns / Wrotham Park Lodge
Your journey begins at Cairns Airport, then a 45 minute private charter flight sees you flying over an ever-changing landscape. Landing on Wrotham Park Station's private airstrip, your immediate impression is of an increased sense of light and space.

A short drive to the Homestead, a cool, welcoming drink and a stroll along the board-walked escarpment sees you at your 'Quarters'. Spacious accommodation takes on a whole new meaningAnother picture of the hotel when lying on your daybed overlooking your private piece of the Mitchell River and the views are of an endless blue sky.

Lunch is the first gathering of guests at the Homestead - a gourmet barbeque or perhaps a set three-course lunch. Food here is fresh, plentiful and big on country flavour.

Afternoon and it's time to plan your first adventure. Fishing by the River or canoeing? Perhaps horse-riding exploring Wrotham stockman-style or maybe you'll explore more of the Homestead - the pool, the library, the lounge and the 24 hour Open Bar.

Gather for pre-dinner dusk drinks on the verandah and enjoy some tasty canapes. After some wildlife spotting, it's time for dinner. Dinner takes the shape of a dinner party - the menu matches premium Australian wines with fresh foods that highlight regional flavours. Alternatively, you can choose to dine privately, perhaps on the deck, seated around the campfire.

Day 2 - Wrotham Park Lodge
After breakfast it's the Half Day Station Tour - the majestic Wrotham Park Station takes in 600,000 hectares of land with around 30,000 head of cattle and this Tour is a round up some of the property's best features. The Tour returns to The Homestead for lunch or perhaps you'd prefer a picnic?

Wrotham Park Lodge is perfect for gourmet picnics by the riverbank and everything you need for a sensational afternoon hamper and eskies can be delivered to your designated picnic spot - including tables and chairs.

The afternoon is yours to do as you wish. Perhaps you'd like to join in on Chef's Country Cooking demonstration and learn the secrets to a perfect roast, maybe take a mountain bike out to explore or retreat to the privacy of your Quarters.

Tonight join your Lodge Hosts for dinner and not only share a memorable meal but tales of life on a working station. Later, wander to the verandah for a nightcap and a guided tour of the night skies - stargazing has never been so enthralling.

Day 3 - Wrotham Park Lodge / Silky Oaks Lodge
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then, depending on your schedule, there might be time for a nature stroll or horse-ride before boarding your private charter for Cow Bay. The elegant Silky Oaks Lodge is a short drive away and along the way there is a growing sense of adventure - this time in lush tones of green.

After settling into your Treehouse accommodation, your first afternoon at Silky Oaks can be spent exploring the oldest and most diverse living rainforest on Earth - the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park. Or simply soak up the tranquil splendour of your rainforest surrounds. A revitalising swim in the Mossman River - the lagoon is extraordinarily beautiful - or perhaps visit the Healing Waters Spa for a restorative signature treatment based on ancient healings.

A twilight cruise on the Mossman River could be a pleasant introduction to the region, then as the day draws to a close, a candlelit table in the renowned Treehouse Restaurant awaits your arrival. The open-sided restaurant is even more spectacular with lights accenting the rainforest canopy, but it's the dinner menu that takes centre-stage with Chefs preparing a different 4-course delight each evening.

Day 4- Silky Oaks Lodge
Rise early and enjoy a breakfast of exotic tropical fruits and fresh pastries while planning your day. Relax by the Lodge - maybe a picnic by the River and the afternoon spent enjoying the award-winning Healing Waters Spa or something more active: exploring the region on mountain bike or canoeing. Perhaps you're in need of a little retail therapy - the boutiques, restaurants and shops of Port Douglas are only 20minutes away.

Maybe a long and leisurely lunch in the Treehouse Restaurant is more appealing. A delicious meal accompanied by a selection of wines and a restful afternoon spent relaxing on your daybed or swaying in a hammock.

Day 5 - Silky Oaks Lodge / Lizard Island
Enjoy breakfast at Silky Oaks Lodge, take a stroll or a swim in the River and farewell the Lodge as a chauffeured private car takes you on a scenic coastal drive to Cairns Airport. From Cairns your connecting private charter flies over the incredible blue of the Coral Sea and the natural wonder of the Great Barrier Reef to the secluded splendour of Lizard Island.

A refreshing drink and it's a brief walk from the Central Complex to your Sunset Point Villa, enjoying stunning ocean views along the way - you may even encounter one of the harmless monitor lizards that give the Island its name.

Day 5 continued - Lizard Island
The sea surrounding Lizard is a captivating shade of blue but over lunch it is hard to determine which is more spectacular the food or the view. This afternoon, perhaps visit the Azure Spa and schedule a few body treatments to enjoy in the next couple of days, laze on a sun lounge or take to the beach with a mask and snorkel and soak up the magical colour and beauty of the Reef.
Walk across a powdery white beach and you'll discover a garden of giant clams, many a metre long and some reputed to be over 120 years old or perhaps join a guided afternoon snorkel expedition. You are also free to use the catamarans, sailboards and paddle skis, visit the gym or play a game of tennis.

Sunset and you are relaxing in a hammock on your veranda drink in hand. Can life be more glorious? Later as you're seated in Ospreys Restaurant looking over tonight's dinner menu it looks like it only gets better and of course dinner is included in your tariff.

Day 6 - Lizard Island
Enjoy a day at leisure but should you wish there's plenty to do, surrounded as you are by 24 pristine beaches, 500 kinds of coral, 1200 species of Great Barrier Reef fish and around 1000 hectares of National Park.

For snorkelling or diving enthusiasts a full day visit to the 'Cod Hole' is a must. There's a snorkel and dive followed by lunch and then on to the world-renowned Cod Hole on the Outer Reef - here you'll come face to face with the giant but friendly potato cod. Later return to the Lodge where you can watch the day's adventures on the big screen.

If you're feeling energetic, you could take a walk up to the Island's highest peak, Cook's Look. The spectacular views of the Island and its brilliant blue surrounding waters certainly make it worth the effort. After your walk you can spend the day as you wish even enjoying the sheer pleasure of doing nothing at all.

Maybe plan a day filled with romance: take out a motorised dinghy and enjoy a gourmet picnic for two on a secluded beach, return to the Lodge in time for your reservation at the Azure Spa where you share a treatment designed for two and then take a sunset cruise returning to the Lodge to a candle-lit dinner beachside in a private marquee.

Day 7 - Lizard Island / Cairns
Breakfast and then perhaps you have time to board a boat for a snorkel adventure or decide on a guided walk and a last swim before saying goodbye to Lizard Island. Your private charter gives you a lasting vision of Lizard's magical blue waters before sweeping south and travelling over the Reef to Cairns.
