Barrington Tops National Park: A magnificent World Heritage-listed National Park with valleys heavily forested and many different species. It boasts capricious climate and bushwalking is the most popular way to take in this fantastic scenery. The park is named after Robert Barrington Dawson, son of the first agent of the Australian Agricultural Company which oversaw the first settlement in the Gloucester district in the 1890's
Crowdy Bay National Park: The national park stretches along the coast from Diamond Head in the north to Crowdy Head in the south. The park contains beaches, coastal lagoons, swamps and cliffs within its 7412 hectares. It is well known for its spectacular flowers and Black necked swans, usually found only found in northern Australia.
Dorrigo National Park: Another World Heritage-listed park, waterfalls spill from all sides of a mist shrouded amphitheatre formed by deep erosion of the New England escarpment section of the Great Dividing Range. This park is considered to be one of the jewels of the northern New South Wales World Heritage rainforest collection.
Lake Russell Gallery: A collection of local ceramics, leather work, paintings and woodwork. Located off the Pacific Highway, 16 km north of Coffs Harbour.
Manning Regional Art Gallery: Housed in the Taree Entertainment Centre, a small and interesting gallery display of local and national artists is featured. Open 1200 - 1600, Thursday - Sunday.
Myall Lakes National Park: A huge network of lakes, 16km east of Bulahdelah or via Hawks Nest. A haven for many different types of sea and forest creatures and popular with water sports and boating enthusiasts. The park is the breeding grounds for an estimated 200 000 shearwaters.
Nymboida Rafting: One of the most exciting activities on the coast, a ride on the rapids through sub-tropical rainforests and gorges. Located inland from Coffs Harbour, the rafting experience is a popular tourist activity.
Fantasy Glades: Located in Port Macquarie, this fantasy theme park caters perfectly for children, with a fairytale atmosphere and magical surroundings, it a fun day for both children and their parents.
